Accounts Assistant– Full Time Position

The Role

Responsible for assisting in purchase & sales invoices being paid in a timely manner.

The Person

Someone who is self-driven and a team player. You would need to be proficient in all MS packages with a key focus in excel.

Key Responsibilities

Purchase Ledger Sales Ledger
·         Process purchase invoices

·         Match delivery notes to purchase invoices

·         Reject invoices to suppliers when invoices have missing information

·         Log invoice queries on invoice register

·         Resolve invoice queries with internal stakeholders and with suppliers as necessary

·         Reconciliation of supplier statements & get copies of missing invoices

·         Ensure that at month end all invoices are processed by the set deadline

·         Filing and archiving of purchase invoicing documents

·         Provide cover for PL Controller as required

·         Other ad hoc duties within the finance department as required

 

·         Daily invoicing process

·         Log and file dispatch notes

·         Match Toyota manifests onto self-bill spreadsheets

·         Process debit notes and raise associated credit notes

·         Produce manual invoices at the request of the Credit Controller

·         Processing and reconciliation of customer self-bill invoices against company records

·         Raise queries with the customer for missing self-bill invoices

·         Raise queries with sales for self-bill price differences

·         Issue daily sales report to key company stakeholders

·         Produce ad hoc sales analysis reports

·         Filing and archiving of all sales invoicing documents

·         Scanning of dispatch notes, manual invoices & credits and remittances

·         Provide cover for Credit Controller as required

·         Other ad hoc duties within the finance department as required

  • Good communication skills to talk through queries with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritise your work and to consistently meet deadlines where required
