Manufacturing Quality Supervisor – Full Time – Days

The Role

This role is a senior position within the manufacturing quality environment that will require management of a wide variety of staff, across multiple shifts. The primary focus is to ensure that day to day quality is maintained and that set quality process are being followed. People management will be a core aspect of this role, along with using data spreadsheets and having the confidence to execute plans to the team.

The Person

An individual who is looking to progress into a senior quality position, confidence will be an important quality along with core knowledge and use of all Microsoft skills. At its core the position will require strong communication skills as the role will demand frequent team and customer interaction. A knowledge of quality will be essential in this role along with experience in continuous improvement and WHS product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervision of Manufacturing Quality (MQ) Control & MQ Inspectors & MQ Assurance
  • Monitoring NCP details and working towards zero ppm to customers
  • Carrying out 8d’s and worst job of the week
  • Setting up an improved method of working within the moulding areas process layouts.
  • Providing support for all staff
  • Have exceptional problem solving skills
  • Ensuring the areas are working towards the departmental KPI’s
  • Continuous improvements
  • Process audits CCAR, customer concerns support.
  • Quality Gate Data control, gather and use data to make decisions and carry out actions
  • Be a customer contact, be able to satisfy customer needs & resolve complaints

General Responsibilities and Duties

  • Adhere to company quality awareness.
  • Meeting Health and Safety standards supporting others to do the same.
  • Assist other areas of the business when required to carry out the same or similar tasks.
  • Any other reasonable duties required

The rate of pay would be £11.50 with an increase to £12.00 after a successful 12 week probation period
