WHS hosted 10 teachers from secondary schools across the UK. They attended a two-day programme organised by the IOM3 (Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining), the BPF (British Plastics Federation) and the Horners Charity, based in London.
They had a full tour of our design, Toolroom and moulding facilities in Site 1. Thanks to all the WHS staff that supported the tour with both demonstrations and explanations of their departments. All the teachers were very impressed with every department and the people at WHS. They looked at CAD design, machining, tool assembly, plus the very latest 3D printed robot arms we make. Mouldings in A row for smart meters (L+G) and B Row showed the moulding cycle and material temperatures. Diversey showed assembly and laser printing.
