Six Sigma at WHS

in April, WHS launched their Six Sigma Training Sessions provided by Capella, a best practice training company used by automotive companies JLR and Toyota. Departments in WHS such as New product Introduction, Sales and Finance took part in their White Belt training with the aim to encourage team working and problem solving. As well as the white belt training, WHS saw the five groups of twelve employees undergo their continuous improvement leadership sessions with the group training sessions running through until September with the purpose to give senior management an insight of how WHS will approach continuous improvement and what their roles will should be to support their teams and colleagues at WHS. The yellow belt training whilst similar to the white belt  focuses more on individual problem solving but will still require the top level management support. This is a fantastic opportunity for the employees at WHS to not only improve their own skills but to apply them to the business which is growing from strength to strength over the next coming years.
