Water Orton Carnival 2016

Water Orton carnival took place on Saturday 18th June and WHS was asked by the Water Orton Carnival committee to support the event by providing lorries and drivers for this year’s floats. The theme for this year’s floats was ‘the sea in all its forms’ with our drivers Dean Edgerton, Keith Bayley, Robert Reed and Alan Boyce taking part. Keith’s float placed second in the competition of best float whilst Alan’s float was placed third as well as one of our lorries having the honour of carrying the carnival Queen. As always we are glad to assist as it is a good way of helping the local community and we also appreciate the amount of hard work that goes into organising such an event. Thank you to everyone who was involved in the carnival this year.
