WHS mentioned how proud and honoured we are to be a local midlands company suppling JLR, one our largest customers and their plants in Europe.
Sales Director Andrew Kendrick spoke on behalf of WHS commenting “Its fantastic news for WHS in Minworth and our employees going forward”
JLR have been busy refining the new electric SUV known as the I Pace and covered over 1.5million test miles and a further 11,000 hours of rig simulations completed by more than 200 production prototypes. Potential specifications revealed on their website suggest that the car will have range of around 310-miles on a single charge and is powered by a 90kWh battery and supported by an all-wheel-drive system.
The car also allows it to charge from 0-60mph the around four seconds and charging the battery to 80 per cent charge will take around 90 minutes.
