WHS Plastics supports Water Orton Carnival

The Water Orton carnival took place Saturday 21st June and WHS plastics was asked by the Water Orton Carnival committee to support the event by providing lorries and drivers for this year’s floats.  As always WHS are glad to assist as it is a good way of helping the local community and we also appreciate the amount of hard work that goes into organising such an event. 

The carnival started with a procession march  headed up by the Northfield Caledonia pipes and drums group who headed the carnival the previous year.  The theme for this year’s floats was ‘Decades’ with one of floats using our WHS lorries placing second in the competition of best float (pictured) . 

The day was packed full of fun activities for the families and friends of Water Orton residents such as a circus workshop, A tug of war tournament, dance troupes as well as the parade of the carnival queen and princesses which WHS had the honour of carrying the Queen.  Thank you to everyone who was involved in the carnival this year.
